Introducing Collections: One Link for All Your Pages

You've been publishing pages one at a time. Now you can group them — a portfolio, a showcase, a client handoff — behind a single shareable link.

The link pile

host-html does one thing well: you drop an HTML file, you get a URL. So you do it again. And again. A pitch deck here, a one-pager there, an interactive demo, a client proposal, the report you built with Claude Code last Tuesday.

Pretty soon you have a pile of links. And when someone asks "can you send me your work?" you're pasting six URLs into a message and hoping they open them in the right order.

A single page is a sentence. A pile of pages is a shoebox of receipts. What you actually wanted was a portfolio.

What collections are

A collection groups several of your pages behind one public link at /c/your-name. One link. You choose which pages go in, the order they appear, and a short blurb for each.

That's the whole idea. Your pages stay exactly as they are — independent, each at its own /p/ link. A collection just gives the set of them a single front door.

How it works

1. Open your account and hit make a collection. Give it a title.

2. Add pages from the ones you've already published — reorder them, add a blurb to each.

3. Publish. You get a clean link like host-html.com/c/beautiful-html to share anywhere.

The collection page is built in the same spirit as everything else here: a quiet, magazine-style index of your work. No dashboard chrome, no logins for the people you share it with. They click, they see your pages, they're done.

Honest about the edges

A few things worth saying plainly, because that's how we like it:

• Collections are curated, not automatic.: You pick what goes in. An empty collection won't publish — a portfolio of nothing helps no one.
• A page that goes dark drops out.: If a page in your collection expires or you unpublish it, it quietly disappears from the set. The collection never shows a broken link or a page you didn't mean to share.
• Protected pages stay protected.: Drop a password-protected page into a collection and it shows as a locked card — the password is still required to open it.

A paid feature

Collections live on every paid plan, starting at Pro ($12/mo). Pro gives you personal collections; on the higher tiers — the ones that come with team seats — a collection can belong to your whole team, so everyone can add pages and publish it together. It's the same feature either way — one link for a set of pages.

Free will always be the fastest way to put a single HTML file on the internet. Collections are for when one file turned into ten and you want them to travel together.
